    All,

Two and half years ago builder finished granny flat build and handed over the keys to me and I have rented after that.

Yesterday PM called to say that 2 taps and showerheads are leaking and the plumber said that all three needs to be replaced. His view is that those taps/ showerheads are substandard and that is the reason, they have gone bad quickly.

Just curious if these items are covered under homeowner warranty and what is the best way to deal with it.

    Thanks

I don't believe they would be covered under builders warranty. Most Plumbing fittings only have a 12 month warranty, but some are longer- check that.

Thanks Tomas. Checked Home owners warranty (NSW) and I think minor repairs not covered more than 12 months.

Showerheads dont leak. Tap washers? Often rubbish from factory.
