Apartment complexes - massive oversupply. It will look like Rhodes or Wenthworth Point in 5-10 years. Houses - the new blocks tend to be 200-250sqm for around $900k; 300sqm plots go for $1.1mil. There is better value 3 minutes drive in any point on the compass away from Rouse Hill IMHO. I think it's over hyped and the transport link has pumped up prices disproportionate to the value it brings in accessibility - anecdotally confirmed by the posters above referring it to as woop or woop woop. Most people from Sydney proper give their cars a once over, check tyre pressures, fill up a tank of fuel and have to psychologically prepare themselves for the big road trip that's required to go visit Rouse Hill.

(there's sprinklings of sarcasm in the above, naturally)

No , I’m referring to the one in NSW. Mistakenly added it as VIC but I’m not sure if I can update it now.

Are there plans to flood the area or are water levels going rise that quickly?

Metro has now been open for 2 years. Rouse Hill to city (Town Hall) an hour with one change at Chatswood. Despite the recent press, it's been pretty reliable and smooth, with trains every 4 mins in peak times.
