If you have these symptoms then I'd suggest you go see your local GP or visit the Emergency department but please call first and give them the heads up.

Hopefully you've only got a mild fever but good luck nonetheless.

It was an article from The Advertiser in Adelaide. I believe it's mostly relevant to everyone.

Also DO NOT go to emergency department unannounced or you´ll contaminate the staff.

No, there are separate assessment and testing clinics being set up at all hospitals with an emergency department (in NSW - I assume the other states are doing similar).

The advice in NSW is the following:

If you have been overseas in the last 14 days, you should:
    • self isolate yourself from others for 14 days from the day you returned or arrived from overseas, and
    • monitor yourself for symptoms
If you develop a fever or respiratory symptoms, please:
    • call your doctor or healthdirect on 1800 022 222. When you call, tell them where you have travelled or if you have been in contact with a confirmed case.
or (if your symptoms are severe)
    • visit your local Emergency Department. When you arrive, immediately tell staff where you have travelled or if you have been in contact with a confirmed case.
If you have symptoms it is important that don’t go to work, school/university/childcare, the gym, or public areas, and you should not use public transport, taxis, or ride-sharing services. If you need to seek medical care wear a surgical mask if available when attending. You should not use public transport, taxis, or ride-sharing services to get to your doctor or emergency department.

NSW Health: COVID-19 - Frequently asked questions - Alerts

Please don't spread misinformation based on your situation in Spain - we are in a very different situation here in Australia and we should be following the advice of our state government health authorities.

For people in NSW, you should be getting your advice from here: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/ ... this is the authoritative site for public information.

My wife works for the NSW Health Counter Disaster Unit in our local health district and this is exactly what they are telling everyone who asks them for advice - read the NSW Health website. There are similar sites in other states.

Here are the websites you should be relying on for local information about COVID-19:
Avoid relying on the media for health advice.

Son was running a temperature and had sore throat last week so his off to get tested and wife and I are now isolated until we find out whether he is positive.

He maintains our units in Cabramatta so could have picked it up around the traps.

Hopefully is just the common flu.

Man - I'm starting to feel like a hypochondriac. Have come down with a sore throat today - hoping it's from spending 2 hours on the ride-on mower in the rain and not from being lax at the supermarket
