    Had a colleague that used to live in Watanobbi. Apparently they lobbied the council (unsuccessfully) to change the name.

    @Jess Peletier have to add, I think I have been in a "useless loop" a few times in my life, if things go real bad, this period will prove to be yet another ! lol

    Heh, yeah.... it took someone else pointing it out to me for me to even realise; I'd always automatically associated the name with the headland on the beach - which is exactly where the name came from.... shrugs.

    But hey, it was on Ace's list, so obviously some people find it amusing :)

    There's a Bogan road in Hillbank SA

    There was a petition signed by most people in street to change it by council said there is nothing wrong with the name :D
