Documents To have in possession after property settlement

Hello Experts,

I am very new to property market and recently have bought a property. Land and house deal. Land settlement is just done few days ago.
What I want to ask here is what documents will I have in my possession after settlement that proves that I am the new owner of the land.
Also when the house is built and house settlement is done what kind of documents I should be asking to the solicitor/builder.

I know I can do a title search independently after settlement. Is there a big list of documents I should be specifically looking at?

Right now the only document I have with me is a digital copy of signed contract for both land and house.

Any pointers are very much appreciated!

 

Passport and airline ticket so you can skip the country quickly.

On settlement (or maybe a couple of days after), you'll have a letter from your solicitor.

On handover from the builder, probably a handover manual with all of the warranties & instruction manuals etc.

I do have a letter from Solicitor but all it tells me is the monies I have paid.

 

Do a title search - if you are the legal owner your name should be on title once it is registered.
