I like a diary. It sits open on my desk next to the computer. I couldn't manage without it. I see it each time I sit down.

I use post-it notes at work.... notebooks doesn't seem to work for me. Post it notes, done? Tick. Throw away. Don't like app as typing things down doesn't make me remember things.

At home, just use google calendar for reminder o_O

I don't need to remember... just need to know that it's all done :p though if KPI specific I'll take notes and store the file somewhere

I use a Collins month-to-a-view diary as a forward planner - good for mapping out holidays / school terms etc. I also use my ph's calendar a lot as well.

My wife uses a book diary.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to beep at her when she forgets an entry like my synced online calendar does.

I use a "big square" calendar for major events as I like to see, at a glance what is on tomorrow - next week - next month - but for today's stuff, I'm always setting my phone alarms to remind me.

I also set phone alarms, but never learned how to use the diary. I do like my week to a page sitting on my desk though, and I also keep paper copies of what I need for the accountant. I don't suppose I'll change now.

I buy one each year have done for the past 30 years plus and file the receipt away for tax time,it gives you a time frame to look back at ,all the mistakes all the wins and hopefully some of the grandchildren in the future will read how it happened, that sometimes it's better to read only the previous week's newspapers..

I have used A5 size for at least ten years, along with my anal filing and spreadsheets. I'm downsizing, so this time it is two days per page. How will I ever cope?

    Anal filing??? Because you're retentive?

I think that was a typo. I'm sure that you meant anal filling.
