    We are loving the "wall of paintings" look, and in our living and dining rooms, we've kind of gone a bit overboard :p. We LOVE it... our kids... not so much :D. This is a corner of our living/dining room and these rooms are internal, walked through to get everywhere else. The dining room is similarly decorated (all one big area though) and used pretty much exclusively at night, so we have ramped up the "moody" feel.

    The rest of the house is light and bright.

    So, whilst not "medieval", it is sort of "different" to the normal. We love it.

    I quite like the way she's done the ceiling and it looks great with the red. Difficult to know how to make exposed beams and timber work look good sometimes. If only the outside could match.
