CIP seems to go in extremes. One area is super busy, down the road empty.
I've been driving around some CIP areas out here and there and almost everything seems to be leased. In the newer areas almost everything is sold as soon as it's completed.
And not that much for lease so it seems mostly owner/operators are buying.

I still think the small retail strips may once again not do too well but this round the big centres as well. They may end up as resi units.

Taking their lead from the large funds who can afford to buy at lower yields & have a number of expiring leases which will increase returns and extend the WALE. Small assets don't have this benefit with only a single tenant, it's tenanted or it's not.

That's exactly what he said to me,with the minder adding who would want to hold property when the equities market was about to explode ..
Problem was as there is a fine line between success and failure and the market did explode taking several from the old site into financial ruin ,some never ever posted again - pity anyone that lost everything..

I heard he is back and running again, with son? Not sure if this is fact.??

Certainly feel for those who lost everything and older, very difficult to come back from this

Lots of points, but its a forum.

I think people make many assumptions about people and probably got it completely wrong.

It’s perception, but if you never met the person how would you know?

Maybe some here are private and dont want to meet anyone or go to meet ups, so what.Their choice. If they add value to PC its great

Nothing wrong with making money and enjoying it. You got a problem with a rolex or landcruiser? Its your problem, get over it:p

Discussing numbers on PC can work against you. Never do this anymore, as you can get trolled on PC.
Also, no one owes anyone anything, its a forum…. Everyone take responsibility for their own action

People looking down at other people, I don’t give a rats about this, I have choice, I don’t associate with people like this, makes life pleasant

Yeah but a condescending tone can be one's undoing ...? For me, anyway. Not beyond forgiveness though.

There’s a spruiker/life changer who guarantees to make you a success.

I saw it somewhere on the net and had a read. He holds three day courses and you stay overnight. He also does a 21 day one on one.
So I think you live with him for 21 days lol.

He’s got a mansion on acres in Canberra where he runs his show. It sounds pretty intense. Obviously I don’t think it’s cheap. It may be tax deductible but not sure.

Would something like this be a worthwhile course?

I can’t say. I imagine he’d be easy to find on the net.

Also a lot of organisations use him as a guest speaker. So I think he’s got credentials.

Pretty much describes everyone at one time or another...so it's pretty fair lol

Those who had trading experience ( guys like Bill L. and topcropper) called him out immediately. It wasn't realistic from the posts.

I also remember hearing some strange advice given by some spruikers that were invited to speak at meetups.
Fortunately peeps around here are a little more cynical these days.

I'm still curious about other strategies and experiences and if someone gave a talk about something I've never heard before I'd probly attend just for the lolz.
I've only met one person from this forum.

Even when I was young and naive my first question when I heard the G word was "What's the guarantee?"

Would depend on a personnel idea of success..
Someone starting a few days staying overnight may help them I guess, after 21 days and studying the theories of Darwinian self selection may be a bit over the top..
Just did a quick search, and several Canberra based come up all seeming having things covered converge continuously toward betterment..

Funny story…..I had been in contact with handyandy for about 4 years, his in Sydney and we finally met up in Atlanta in 2011 for dinner with our partners. We still talk every week. Sometimes you just click with certain people and build friendships

1 or 2 people on here have implied they find me elitist in attitude, condescending, arrogant, clueless investor etc etc.

They never met me, know nothing about me and are extremely judgemental. Tbh I couldn't care less. People who have met me and know me, know different.

Unfortunately some on here (credit to PC very, very few ) like to intimidate and passively (and actively) bully, belittle and ridicule others if they don't fit the bill the bullier expects and demands. Many people even tiptoe around them to avoid being targeted. I've been told this in PMs and in person. Thankfully, I don't think it's a widespread issue on PC and the mods are very good at monitoring and acting when necessary.

I reckon he’d charge 50K for the 21 day course. Food lodging and masseuse to relax stressed muscles should be included.

With that sort of money I m expecting to walk out without ever touching a ciggie again and a complete new wardrobe that doesn't include flanno shirts, black t shirts and uggies.

Different hairstyle also but I keep the commodore.

It will be a new datto!.
