    I've rented most of my adult life and will continue to do so for at least the next 4 years (just signed another 4 year lease). This is Catalonia though, security of tenure is something lacking in Australia, tenants are more vulnerable, renting is less secure. I still own 3 properties though just I don't live in them, have always preferred to rent something nice and invest elsewhere, property and shares.
