Getting ready for 30 June tips - Investment Property Owners

It is getting close to 30 June 2019 - have you got a current tax depreciation schedule in place for your rental property?

The ATO does not accept accountants as experts in this area, so you need to get your property, fixtures, fittings etc valued by a quantity surveyor to avoid issues should you be audited.

It is never too late, the reports can be backdated and are usually for a 10 year period.

If you do not have a tax depreciation report, you could be missing out on $1000s of tax deductions.
