disposing of old AC units

    Hi To all,
    had ducted AC installed and have had removed and degassed two old Split systems. Will scrappies take these or is there another method od disposal?

    As per @Rolf Latham
    It takes a bit of work, but the recoverable material makes is worthwhile ;)
    Though they likely wont pay for the privilege as the labor required to seperate outweigh the reward :oops:

    We replaced a split system air conditioner.
    Installation deal included de-gassing and removal of the old unit.
