I can't help, but you can't say that it sure didn't clean up your disc!

Try Recuvra, probably the best free program to undelete stuff.

Was it the computers disk cleanup or one from a third party?

Right click on C drive, and choose "restore previous versions". Hopefully Windwos has been doing shadow copies

And if you do get your data back, buy one of those data storage external units and BACK UP your files regularly.

    Computers program.

My c drive still has 75gb used and 25 go free

So all the stuff must be on here somewhere

If the disk is still showing 75% used, then i would say all your stuff is in recycle bin. If thats the case, you can recover out of there.

If thats not the case, you data is still most likely there. Windows does not actually delete the data (zero out the drive) it would just mark it to be overwritten. So the data is there, but the OS sees it as free space. This means that if you had 75GB before you deleted the data and you delete 20GB, you should see 55GB used - hence if you still see 75GB then its probably in recycle bin.

If you have deleted it out of recycle bin, you could potentially be overwriting data now (due to logs etc writing) if you're using your computer. You can try and recover with recuva or similar software.

Ah. Try WizTree (shows the directories where your 1,000 biggest files are) or Directory List and Print Pro (lists everything on your HD) could help identify where the files are hiding.
