One cruise was a gift from my folks and the other one had been booked two years earlier and paid for.

We stole nobody's money, not a penny was stolen. Again poor systems at start up. I cannot stress that enough. The system failed and subsequently the process failed.

Genuine question - now that you've acknowledged the system has failed and presumably you can see where exactly it failed - do you have some insight in where the money went?

I'm surprised you haven't said anything about this - do you know?

At the moment, it kinda looks like you're saying that your agency couldn't prove whether a tenant had paid rent or not?

I would point out THE system didn't fail nor did THE process failed.

You are using very non responsible terms. YOUR systems failed and YOUR processes failed.

If you are taking ownership of the issue your mindset is not. And that is only making people angrier.

The way you have described the issues doesn't show responsibility for your actions. You are responsible for the process and systems that you chose to put in place. You may have done best with your skills at the time but unfortunately they were poor choices which you need to own and admit.

How lovely for you.....while your loyal clients were left high and dry struggling to pay their mortgages because of your actions or lack thereof.

Correct, our systems failed and our process failed = acknowledging responsibility as I have done all along

Some tenants took advantage of the situation and fell back in rents - we worked with multiple owners who did not track their rental income coming in directly into their personal accounts to address rental arrears but could not assist owners who swiftly moved on to chase outstanding rents.
Essentially, the OFT can only disburse rental income that has come into the trust account

I know multiple who are. Denying it doesn't fix your cause here, fixing it does.

No you haven't, not once. That's why everyone is getting so frustrated with having to continually rephrase it in a way you understand it.

Ok so you acknowledge responsibility. Now take action and pay those who are out of pocket.
