Good chance many of us here on this forum will get it wrong. Have a go.

A Quick Puzzle to Test Your Problem Solving

If you have a go, don't talk about the answer (so other people can try), but just reply with something like "I got it right" or "I got it wrong". Or try it before reading replies from others.

So you know, both myself and my partner got it wrong (and I've got a few uni qualifications and my partner has a masters in physics)...

When I opened the link, it went to a survey about what news sources I use. I went through a few pages but no puzzle so I quit. I’m using chrome btw...

Got it right, considering there were no limits to testing you could do.
Was pretty sure after 3 or 4 positive tests, but then proceeded with another few tests to get negative results to confirm the answer before revealing it.

I got three correct answers, but didn't get the rule right. (That will make sense to those who've done it.)

And I'm sure that doesn't give anything away...

I got three right then deliberately chose a different (that I thought was wrong) sequence that would prove my first assumption. When it was also correct I had to think again!

I guessed the answer just by reading the question. It took 2 tests to confirm my guess was correct. It was. :)

Uh oh, thought I was right so put in my mathematical explanation - too many yes's, not enough no's.
Point taken. This is why 'failure' is part of the learning process.
