    Hi all,

I have a depreciation report done prior to the end financial year but the tenant signed the contract after July 2017. I was living in it before.

Do I claim the schedule fee for last financial year or next year?

    Thanks

    Rich.

When was the property 'available to rent'? That is the start date. The company that did it would be able to change the start date easily. They won't charge to do that.
Re: Claiming the fee. If you paid it last fin year, that is when you claim it.

Tip - The QS fee isnt a rental property cost. Its a tax agent service
