It's easy to make someone look older. Not so easy to make someone look younger. I would have put Granny at around 60.

What an iconic show! 9 years is a long run. It was part of my childhood in the 80's - 10 -20 years after it finished. Started in black and white and finished in colour.

I'm just watching Who Do You Think You Are on Richard Roxburgh. I came late the the Rake party but we binge watched it some months ago, and also just finished watching the last series.

I LOVE how Richard Roxburgh "in real life" speaks the same way his character does in Rake. I've not really seen him in many other things, so I'm not sure if he brings the same mannerisms and manner of speaking to his other roles. But he is a great actor.

Their house (at least the house used for exterior shots) has just been sold to Lachlan Murdoch, for a record price in California, and perhaps the second highest price in the US.
Lachlan Murdoch's $150m Beverly Hillbillies mansion buy breaks record

He should have spent more time on Property Chat, and may have saved a few 10s of millions....

    Bowie, Prince, Johnny Cash.
In the wake of Princes death Eric Clapton was asked about how it felt to be the world’s best guitarist.
His response: “I don’t know. Ask Prince.”

It might be possible that Tommy Emmanuel might nominate Chet Atkins...
