    Hey Guys,

Hope everyone had a great holiday period!

A quick one someone may be able to help me with?

Im looking for demolition approval rates/ history data? Is there some census info I'm missing or will I have to back track through local area council approvals?

Basically need to compare the number of boom time demolitions with market drops and see whats happening there..

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thanks

Not all demolition works require approval. - figures will be misleading or understated. The LEP will indicate whether consent is required.

This makes sense, something to consider I guess.

Im sure its as it would seem anyway- Boom times, houses get demolished to make way for units. Where slower periods see a reduction in new development and in turn a reduction in home demolishment?

Misleading too. One demo may cover twelve sites for apartments but another for a single house. Other for infastructure ? Some councils may add the DA to each lot too ? How do they trap the developer firesale ? (ie suspicious blaze)

The crane index is a interesting one I recently read about. http://assets.rlb.com/production/2016/10/19235732/RLB-Crane-Index®-October-20161.pdf

Obviously its apartment and commercial property driven.
