Demolishing a wall

    Hello, what documents/certificates/permits are required to demolish a kitchen wall in a house (in Perth)? A licensed roof carpernter will be doing the work, and he says I don't need any structural certificates etc. He is going to install two new beams as the current beam is lying on the top of the wall. Please advise.

    He has a trade licence which covers his trade only, anything outside of that may not be covered by his insurance. Check the fair trading website for the works covered by the trade licence.
