This is pretty typical of what I was buying in 2011. This is Zillow, will show all the details including tax, rent and purchase price - 2011 I purchased this one for $34,100. You will see this figure scroll down.

Had some investors asking me what is happening in USA, and why is this market on fire.

The U.S. Real Estate Market - Trends, Characteristics And Outlook | Seeking Alpha
    Seeking Alpha, April 2017

37% of all homes sold in the U.S. last year were purchased for investment purposes.

The homeownership rate in 2016 was the lowest in 50 years, as renting has been increasingly the more frequent choice compared to purchasing.

In 2013 foreign purchases made up 7% ($92.2 BLN) of total residential transactions of $1.2 TLN, rising to $104 BLN in 2015. The latter number was more than 2.5 times the 2009 figure

Do you actually think the plan will pass? It increases the deficit and there are plenty in the Republican party who do not favor the plan as is.

The article you posted is highly biased - example being this excerpt - "Democrats don’t understand economic growth and what causes it. They lost the election last year because blue collar working people and the middle class saw that, and abandoned them. "

Plenty of evidence to prove that most of mainstream media is biased towards the left, hence fake media. But lets not go down this road.

Back your question... yes, I think it will get passed. Time will tell.

Economy is currently moving in the right direction.

    Hi MTR,

Love reading your posts. Can you recommend where to buy houses like that for that price today?
    Or has that ship sailed?

The US market is great but also a huge market. You need to do your research and look at things such as vacancy rates, state taxes etc. I prefer Florida and Georgia. Houses in Florida around rd 150-180K and can get rd 10% gross yields. Student homes rd $250K looking at over 10% yield. Florida has no state tax and places like Orlando have low vacancy rates.

My worry is currency, but medium term were more likely to have a 50c and a 90c AUD/USD which is the way you want it to go for a variety of reasons.
