How funny was this? All the pop culture references were spot on. I can't wait till this comes out online so that I can watch it again. People are even hoping that the success of this movie can lure Hugh Jackman to star in the second Deadpool movie.

I hope your son is an adult (or damn close) because it's certainly not child appropriate!

Watched it last night, it's great but they've certainly taken advantage of the R rating!

Looking forward to this for a bit of a chuckle. Trailers look pretty funny.

It's very very R rated. Full frontal nudity, gore, profanities, sex, you name it, they have it.

Wow. Way to potentially ruin a young blokes chance to see a good movie!

Can't wait till I see it, been very busy but will catch it soon over the next week!

It's M15+ in Australia but it's absolutely not your standard Marvel PG movie. There is about a 2 minute sex montage early in the movie and countless sexual references, foul language throughout and a ton of violence. It's absolutely on the R rated end of an M15+ rating.

It's not Requiem for a Dream (though I'd argue kids should watch that one for the drug message...) but I wouldn't be showing it to a 12 or 13 year old unless they're particularly mature for their age.

It's a great movie though and if you're fine with the aforementioned elements then there is nothing really traumatising in it!

    Definatley MA15+ to R rating.

I think the movie spent abit too much time explaining his past.

Anyway I thought it was funny and enjoyable and would definatley go and see a sequel if it is made.

    3.5/5 stars

My 16yo saw it Wednesday night and said it's definitely the most full on movie he's ever seen and definitely MA+ . We watched it Thursday night and I loved it - funny, suspense and love. I'm pretty hopeless with horror/gore but I was able to handle this.

I won't be watching it. I think this type of movie could have a bad influence on me.

The whole x-men / avengers franchise is really pushing it's longevity. Saw deadpool tonight, great fresh take on the superhero genre and was very funny. Definitely keen for a sequel.

Isn't this the film that has been made over the last 5 years or so?

Yeah I read that. But it was supposedly filmed 5 years ago. My workmate is mad on it and has been showing me trailers for it since 2014.

Crappiest movie that I've seen lately.
All the funny scenes were in trailer, nothing new in the movie.
It had some children jokes (which i found hard to laugh) but the movie wasn't child - friendly.
It seemed like movie was made just for the sake of making it.
