Regarding a managed Airbnb. If a property sustains damage / loss while under a management agreement would the management company be liable for letting it or would it come under Airbnb insurance?
Would the owner have a case to sue the management company for damage/ loss?
Could the company insure against this scenario ?

Why would the management company be liable for any damage to the property?

They wouldn't unless something they did/didn't do actually caused the damage. Even then you would have trouble making them liable.
