@larrylarry, no, happy to watch from afar :)

Returns have been enough to have a meaningful impact so, a while ago, I decided my crypto gains are solely for charitable donations and philanthropy.

Steven I’ve notice you posted this in 2015. How are you going with it now?

For a technological Luddite would it be possible to give a brief dot point review of how you buy and store IOTA. TIA

Just Go to coinspot.com.au and buy them there. Easy

As hammer points out, register an account at CoinSpot (CoinSpot - Buy Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and more - CoinSpot), their verification process is a bit tedious (including a photo of yourself holding a sign), but then you can use POLi (if supported by your bank, there are alternative methods) to fund your account and make the purchase.

I am keeping my IOTA on the exchange at the moment as the wallets are reportedly quite difficult to use (improved versions coming at which time I'll look to move them off the exchange), also CoinSpot doesn't currently accept IOTA transfers, so there is no way to get them back on to the exchange to sell (at the moment).

Don't put in more than you are prepared to lose in it's entirety :) but I think IOTA will fly as it's added to more exchanges and the platform is developed further.

Well, if they don't convert the proceeds of sale to FIAT, they don't pay capital gains tax?

Tell them to be careful. It's true that the returns have been unbelievable....but when it turns it is equally unbelievable...

Don't put anything in that you're not prepared to lose.

Agreed, I said once you double your money pull your starting capital out! One mate's dad Is a trader and he didn't deter him, from putting a large amount in crypto coins which made me lift an eye brow...

I believe in the technology itself but the whole value just does not make any sense to me at all!

I'm right with you on this one.
Pity verification on coinspot took about 5 days, otherewise could've been 1200% up!

Still waiting on my verification. Has cost me dearly by the looks of it.
