Just be careful with this one guys. Tether has the ability to pretty much destroy everything. If the regulators find something wrong with bitfinex and tether watch out.

It'd be the crypto equivalent of a black swan event.

Tell me about it! I've gone from using sms and one other chat program to a million others.

I've found telegram to be good for following projects but my phone has never dinged so much. I've had to mute a lot of it.

I think @Xenia was into it?

Have a friend who got into Genesis, but they're now sold out. Had a little look at Hashflare, and while they said limited availability, they seemingly have unending capacity as they didn't sell out - which raised a little red flag (aka Ponzi)

Also, I heard the difficulty has gone up again, and returns not as good (for Bitcoin anyhow)

I researched it. Super risky and not worth it.

It might work for some but there are better ways of going about generating income.

Honestly, I'd avoid it. You can get similar and way less risky returns from high yielding ETFs.

I'm surprised it hasn't been investigated previously.. surely with the amount of coverage they would feel pressured to do something?

Sea of red today.. maybe people are freaking out already.

You can use CFDs if you have guts of Steel.

Or you can convert to fiat. Wait it out then buy again.

In theory you can also convert to tether wait out the drop then buy back in cheaper. However tether is its own can of worms...

That wouldnt really be shorting as you wont make money by simply the coin going down. With shorting you are basically betting that something is going to go down in value and if it does then you actually make money

Cloud mining bitcoin is not really profitable - at BTC current price - due to the difficulty constantly increasing, however if you wanted to try, you could give Hashflare a shot. This thread is worth reading:

    Cloud Mining Journey (with Hashflare)

Of course profitability entirely depends on BTC's price, so if it goes up to $25K next week, it will have been profitable. Genesis is generally the most respected provider but they are sold out of contracts. Hashflare also build their own rigs apparently.

Mobile mining is a joke :)
If you have a decent processor you can mine cryptonight, but you won't be breaking the bank when you factor in electricity (could also be negative), still for a giggle why not.
With GPU rigs you can mine, but the GPUs prices have increased a lot and you will struggle to source more than a couple. It can also be a major annoyance in terms of heat and noise.

You could also look into nicehash and buy/rent some hashing power there to mine your coin of choice.

Crypto has emotionally crippled me, I now have a feelingless heart of stone[IMG].;) What bothers me is waiting to get more fiat processed to buy this dip, if it rebounds tomorrow I will be ******. If this ship goes down I’m going down with it and I’m ok with that. :)
