There's a lot of money pushing up BTC including Goldman Sachs heavy spruiking.
And there's a lot of illegal billions still looking for a chance to get out.
It's gonna be a GREAT short, again.

Why would you bother trying to short bitcoin? There’s plenty of easier stuff to short than the best performing asset ever... good luck is all I can say.

I don’t think you’ll be shorting anytime soon.

    Lol, they never learn.

If you can somehow time the market for such a short no doubt you can make a killing on shorting, but if you are able to do that why not:
    1. Ride the way up too, leveraged even
    2. Use your skills in shorting all kinds of other assets
    3. Make an absolute killing left right and centre

But hey, it’s all worthless magic internet tulip money :D

    1. It's not an asset. It has no intrinsic vale. NAV= Zero
    2. It is not much useful
    3. Criminals and scammers need to get their billions out
    4. The scam starts at the exchanges
    5. It went down like a rock before, it will again.
    6. GS is spruiking.

    and a few more

    Well done.

Although wouldnt it have been easier to go long on bitcoin in October at 10k, and exit the trade now at 30k?

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

My hammer is a long hammer. Bought Chainlink for $0.66 and sold for $23.48.

Should be just around the corner. DeFi (uniswap, chainlink etc) will be the killer play this cycle imo

DataDash just released his top 10 altcoins video, it's not gospel by any measure but I agree with most of his picks especially the top 5.

    tl;dr:
    1. Ethereum
    2. Ampleforth
    3. Uniswap
    4. Chainlink
    5. dHedge
    6. Loopring
    7. Unibright
    8. DMM
    9. Warp
    10. Hegic

Amateur traders try and short in a bull market. And vice versa, go long in a bear market.

    Thanks
Up until today I had not looked at BTC chart for at least a year.
I prefer currencies as the bounce around and easier to predict. BTC has zero NTA and theoretically no upper limit. And many deep pockets involved.

Trading I just look for patterns. Look at a chart and decide to enter or not.
After that I made a few short term trades with very small amounts on Bitmex and decided to stop after a week as it was worse than the FX bucket shops. Volume and prices seemed fake. At any fast move it slowed down and trading was not possible.

Before i even think of shorting I'm waiting for all the stories on the news and my FB feed to be filled with stories of all the people getting rich on BTC, like last time. Maybe it will happen, maybe not.

This I agree with. Last cycle, I was at a family party and heard a non-tech-savvy uncle boast about how he was getting rich on Ripple. Best warning sign ever!

It will happen again at the end of this cycle. I won't be shorting anything myself but I will be taking some long profits.
