    Hi all,

Any suggestions to a sliding window door that leads to the balcony and now and again has a creaking/crackling sound. I have had to open the door if the noise gets too much.

Thanks for your time : )

If you contact your IT support person, they'll advise you close down Windows and bring it back up in safe mode.

Lift the door off and it will have bearing runners at base. They may need to be replaced. Lubricants may work a while - Even washing them out then lube but if it persists they need to be replaced (Bunnings sell most).

It might be a small stone trapped in the bottom track that gets dragged around. Lift out the door/window and clean the track and the rollers.

Make sure there are no delinquents throwing objects at your window. Happens a lot in Mt Druitt, don't know about your area though, but best to check .

Do you mean you hear the noises when the door is closed?
