I like this one in Perth (Joondalup). He is actually a good mate of mine and will end up being a pretty cool set up, once finished. He was responsible for changing the COJ planning laws so it can never get approved again. #historymaker

If it was a Gothic Abbey you'd call it a flying buttress but it's a block of apartments so it's an eyesore. ;)

Note that the owner of the semi also owns a few more adjoining houses, so there's more in store.

Got to wonder if they were "holding out" for a few more $$$s from the developer before selling

    Am guessing it backfired

Good luck selling it now o_O

So why was it done? On purpose, to be an eyesore? To prove a point?

Dont know as I never asked why. Probably just trying to get ahead like the rest of us.

He did show me plans and I asked if that will get through and he was confident that it would.

From the UK and this style is more typical there, at least where he was from.

Its made from a product called zeggo and stay up no probs in a vicous cyclone. Good insulating properties as well.

Article mentioned that building was delayed and that it needed to be completed by December 2015 or there could have been a call to demolish.

    Was it completed Colin?

@Joynz yes, the outside has been completed but not the inside. There is no time limit on that apparantly.

Why the delay? Too scared to move in and meet the neighbours?!

Which of the photos is the one where he owns the houses next to it? The one with the high rise, or the other one?

Edit: Just saw it is the "lean to" - it is in another thread.
