Cracked shower base - Brisbane (Camira)

    Hi,
    Can anyone recommend someone to help with my IP in Camira (south of Goodna). The shower base is cracked (1m x 1m) and I need to replace the base, fix up plumbing below, replace any tiles that come off, waterproof, reinstall showerscreen etc

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Is the property managed by a PM? If so, they would have a network of tradespeople who should be able to help.

    You would think so, but my PM has said their handymen can't handle it and asked me to try and find someone :( time for a new PM methinks

    You may be able to find someone who can weld an acrylic shower base without having to replace it.

    Its quite a big uneven crack, about 200mm so I don't think welding it would work :(

    Not sure if these guys are in your area but it could be a good solution. They install a shower base over the top of the existing one. We used them once. It ends up a lot cheaper than replacing the shower base and dealing with tiling, waterproofing issues etc.

    I know a local builder in the area that can cover all accepts of this and can guarantee their workmanship if you havent found anyone yet
