We will be where we will be - no point in speculating when there are to many variables.

Many will have had the first shot but not the second (due to wait period), depends on how much vaccine is bought into the country, depends on distribution and booking availabilities (most are already out to October), depends on the success of lockdowns ...

It took me around 1hr 15mins to get an appointment today. That’s what has put me off booking earlier. After 6 phone calls and filling out three online forms I found a date that suits and will accept me. Some surgeries won’t take new patients for vaccination and some only doing AZ. Being under 40 and having clots previously and warfarin dose for a year I just really didn’t want this option. I’ll get my injection at Joondalup shopping centre. It wasn’t my first preference but I’m glad I’m in soon.

Questions for those who have been vaccinated:
    - have you checked your immunisation register, and if so, have your vaccinations shown up?
    - do you know how long it took for them to appear on the register?
    - for anyone that the immunisation register is NOT showing your vaccination, have you had any success in getting it corrected?

My second shot was more than 3 weeks ago, and it is not on my immunisation register yet :(

I checked mine (first shot) within a few days and it was there. Perhaps followup with where you got the jab as they may not have submitted

Showed up on my Medicare app about 48 hours after the second shot - which was when I set the Medicare app up.

My registration was there that day, or next (can't recall when I checked). Certainly by next day.

Just got my first Pfizer then (1 hour ago). Not up yet.

Apparantly you need to look at it before my next shot.

I had trouble getting into the Medicare section of MyGov. I had to go to DSS to sort that out before I had access to my record.

*sigh* I fear this is not going to go well. I rang the number listed on the immunisation register, their response "you have to call the centre where you were vaccinated".... I had my vaxes done at the John Hunter Hospital... who are no longer doing the vaccinations. I called them anyway "that's normal, you just have to wait". Yeah, right.

You know, you are free to decide which threads you read. Something you don't like.....just skip it.

As above, you don't have to read the threads that you don't like.....and you don't have to keep coming back to them to reply either. Sheesh, look at the Coffee Lounge.....lots of posts that aren't about investing at all, and yet nobody complains.

You know, this is a hot topic everywhere, not just here. It's something that people want/need to talk about, and what better place than where you are on the same wavelength as most. Imagine if you were to go to somewhere like Whirlpool. You'd be full of conspiracy theorists.

I suspect those that complain may be the same ones that don't/won't wear a mask etc.

Some (ahem) of those that complain are ones that keep starting new Covid threads ... go figure
