    Doh!

But in other news, we bought Hamilton tickets a couple of months back and they’ve been cancelling shows the last couple of days with not more than a half hour’s notice!
I wonder if the show will be on.

That's messed up. I only live 20 mins from there but imagine traveling interstate or something to watch the show

We can’t hoard them in Brisbane because we can’t get any. :(

They can be found around Newcastle, but it's hit and miss. Somebody finds one, word gets around, and people rush to a pharmacy.

Find a RAT becomes wack a mole.

As a vegetarian, I think it's been hilarious, at times the only "meat' you could get was fake meat.

I know this was a joke - but anaphylaxis isn't and can kill someone quite quickly and the effects can start within seconds of exposure.

That is why kids can't bring peanut butter.

Ironically - there is a nut allergy that is considered to be worse than peanuts - from the perspective of the severity of reaction - and that is cashews / pistachios. But we don't tend to explicitly ban them because A) peanut allergies are far more common, and B) kids don't tend to eat cashews or pistachios as much as peanuts (indeed most kids don't even like them)!

I only know of this because we recently discovered that my daughter has a cashew / pistachio allergy! She also has a mild peanut allergy - but that is something she can probably train herself to tolerate, if we could get her to put in any effort into doing so!

Okay - back to the humour now.

I knew it - COVID has been a vegan conspiracy all along!

First they convince us not to eat bats or pangolins - and now they are interrupting the supply chains to make us all eat fake meat! :p

It's actually crazy, all of these epidemics/pandemics were likely caused by eating meat!

    • SARS
    • MERS
    • Swine Flu
    • Bird Flu
    • Ebola
    • COVID
    • HIV/AIDS
    • etc

It's definitely not the reason I don't eat meat, but it's a reason.

There was even a silly belief in India (does this count as humour?) that vegetarians couldn't get COVID because it was caused by eating meat.

Heh, yeah I went for a quick shop that other day and no issues getting my non-meat sausages and burgers. The fake mince was all gone - I suspect by mistake.
