You can play singles tennis which is a very safe method of physical exercise.

Yes, that’s it, being out in the winter sun is good for the immune system. By the way the posting speed is working well tonight, super fast.

Walked past my local tennis courts today and immediately remembered my racquets are sitting in the closet collecting dust...

I wonder what racquets you have stored away, could be interesting, I love racquets.

Bought a new bike this week - amazingly enough they actually had the model I wanted in stock so I didn't have to wait months like I expected to.

    Specialized Sirrus X 3.0

It's a "gravel" bike in that it has 42mm tyres and can handle some light off road stuff - but it certainly won't cope with full MTB terrain or sandy tracks - the tyres won't have much grip on anything loose, plus there's no suspension.

I upgraded the drive train to 1x11 11-51t and there's a few other modifications I'll need to make before I'm completely comfortable, especially for the longer rides I intend to do.

I'm looking forward to getting back into riding more regularly again, especially since my plantar fasciitis is still causing me a lot of trouble so I'm not really able to walk much at the moment.

Nothing too interesting unfortunately- just a couple of standard Wilsons that were gifted to me

A simple all in 1 exercise that will get you sweating and out of breath.
Push up burpee with star jump.
Do 50 of them in a row if you are super fit.
    I can usually manage 25 per sets x 2
    Rest 2 mins between sets.

Warning: Do not attempt this if you are unfit. You will be in pain for days to come if you do.
