    - there is no requirement for additional testing - you can test positive for some time.

    - If the seven day isolation period has passed and the cough is mild and infrequent (a few times per day), then the iso has ended.

reminds me of the calculation used by medics to assess how likely one is to survive burns - age + percentage of body burned ... if less than 100 then good chance - if higher than 100 then not good

ie, if aged 47 with burns to 40% = 87 then good chance of survival ... if 77 with 40% = 117 not so good

But I doubt a baby (0) with 90% of body burned will have a great outcome…. Sorry

Even thinking of childhood - scraped knees, stubbed toes - a week or so would have repaired.

A ninety year old would probably take weeks for the skin to heal, and get a broken hip as well!

Getting old sucks - but it’s better than the alternative (usually).

Did you get migraines with your immunisations? I got a migraine each time with my 3, have tablets on hand now and an option to take a tablet daily to stop migraines which I haven’t taken up.

Hmmm - I had two migraines, over the last two days (unusual to have two so close together) - felt a little sniffly but put both down the weather fluctuating/muggy/rain ... will keep an eye on how it all progresses.

No migraines for me on vaccinations - mine tend to be trigger by humidity and bright light

For the past couple of years my migraines now go for three days straight. So three days of pills. My triggers tend to be potting mix (I should wear a mask), sinus and possibly dehydration.

I had a minor headache with my first vaccination but for second one was fine.
Went and got a PCR test this morning, symptoms thus far are relatively mild with blocked/runny nose and muscle soreness.
Headache, fever and sore throat have settled down today which is good

@Coota9 hopefully that's the worst of it. I had two nights that I went to bed early, feeling like I'd been hit by a small truck, but no worse than a bad cold... headache, sneezing. I had a bit of neural pain in my legs, and I still am coughing, but hopefully that goes soon. We had our flu shots today.

I had the body aches yesterday as well but thought it may have been the crappy sofa in my new Covid cave in the spare room

    Day 2 of Covid:

A cough, a little bit lethargic.

    Much milder than I anticipated.

My 8 month old son had to be taken to the hospital (he's fine but doesn't feel very well).

My wife is on day 5 and has been quite sick, didn't get out of bed much for two days and is still vomitting.

My 4 year old son is the same as me.

    So a mixed bag.

@spludgey hope your family recovers quickly. It's hard to look after sick children when you are feeling sick yourself.

Get better soon. Hopefully you'll bounce back quick and can care for the kids.

Lil'Ms No Mates tested +ve yesterday  - considerate SNM thought she was as active as normal. Scratchy throat, feels yuck.

Master No Mates has been feeling crappy for a few days, negative RAT every day  He missed an exam today  he wasn't happy. Failed his PCR

He's suffering from Sympathy Covid or Man Flu. :p

I must be one of the few who still hasn’t had it yet. Anyone else?
