Just saw a clip of London city and streets people are out and about everywhere. Pubs and restaurants, on the streets, shopping, parks , then she said they'd just recorded another 6k cases today. Dunno if she was talking just London or the whole UK.
l'm not sure how open they are but this looked like somewhere near normal but how could it be with that many cases.
That'd be like Melborne still basically open with 4 or 5k a day .

There is a different strategy in europe , they believe. A vaccine is too far away (if it ever comes) they don’t think locking down and living in isoaltion for ever is a sustainable solution

No idea whose right here or there but they openly say a vaccine is too far away whereas here we are told we will stay isolated from the world as it’s imminent

Watch Dr John's video from yesterday ... posted a couple of pages back. The UK is locking down areas that have high clusters, not the whole country, liked Melbourne tried to do initially.

6,000 is the whole country(s) and I guess they're working with the strategy of "as long as the health system can cope"

An oldie (March 2020) but a goodie.

Dr Howard Markel is the Professor of Medical History at the University of Michigan. Even early on, as the video was in March of this year, his view was the main issue to control the pandemic requires social distancing. He also provides some view points on the fatality rate of Covid-19 even at that early stage. Accords generally with what it is now.

Yeah right , strangely with Oxford being the main hope right now.
But at any rate in ways l sort of think they're right and l don't blame them really. l mean what if Vic took of again , what are we suppose to do a 3rd lockdown , yaknow , that'd be getting ridiculous .

ps , saw another clip and interviewing Florida mayor out on the street and walking through town , same bars open people everywhere. Hovering around 1800 pd 6wks or so, suppose that's good compared to what they were. People weren't even masked.

Save that if he does shake it off after a few days it will be a case of "I told you it was nothing more than a dose of flu"

I'm hoping he has a "Boris" time of it ... however ... am wondering how someone can catch a hoax virus, would he be positive if he hadn't tested and it hardly affects anyone except the elderly and/or obese (oops)

    It is what it is

Will be interesting. Maybe he stopped taking the malaria drugs.

If he gets quite unwell their done.

If he gets through it like the majority of people it will be another 4 years.

The interesting thing is that if he does fall seriously ill & passes command to Mike Pence (who is also a close contact etc), Pence may also have it and command goes to No. 3 Pelosi
