Man cops 10 fines for repeated COVID-19 breaches

Two men were also caught buying cigarettes in South Melbourne after curfew. Both men were also not wearing face coverings, with one claiming he did not need to as he has a birth condition that makes him resistant to coronavirus.

    thats a creative excuse!o_O

Another supermarket expedition this morning - shelves are full, hardly any shoppers.

Doesn’t one need to have a brain to have a lobotomy? :D

I understand but the daily numbers jump around a bit just as they did when the daily cases were peaking. The main thing is that the 7 day average in Victoria has dropped from 575 cases per day 2 weeks ago to 353 cases per day today. That's a 38% drop over the past 2 weeks and a drop of 24% over the past week. We are headed in the right direction. We just need to hold our nerve.

    Latest cricket scores.
    Vic: 4 out for 303
    NSW: 9 runs
    NZ: 7 runs

Other states... I dunno, sorry! (That’s a good thing).

One area that governments have been all too quick to curtail is one’s civil liberties. If the virus cannot be cured, which is the likely outcome - although immense efforts are being made to find one, likely due to the financial incentives that come from this - further erosion of your basic liberties will occur. Turnkey totalitarianism is unfortunately where we are heading and most of the public appear to be either pleased with this current direction or indifferent to it.

Just so long as the trajectory is like Coles (Down, down), I'm happy.

Don't think so, to my observation no one, can wait for this to be over and many are struggling badly but meantime they're just trying to cope and do what they have to right now. Most likely out come imo though is a vac very soon or within 2020

Mind you , being the nanny state we are the gov' on the other hand is probably starting to to like this and might not mind the idea of keeping us all locked up and behaving ourselves forever. They could always find other ways of making some money.

Yes people should be allowed to leave the country if they want and can, don't understand that restriction Australia has.
