    I don't believe the tradeoffs we made have been devastating. What is devastating is what's happening right now in the U.S. and the UK, and most other western nations for that matter. These countries have all kept their economies open with hardly much to show for it. Unemployment is through the roof in the U.S. and thanks to the incompetence of their Senate people are going hungry and struggling to pay their bills. It's a similar story in the UK with high unemployment and record borrowing/debt. Meanwhile the virus continues to run unabated with record number of daily infections and deaths. Absolutely heartbreaking.
