I hope that's the case but I doubt that

I've yet to hear one story where a person who owes a lot of money to speeding fines etc or other government fines have had any of their assets or salaries garnished, or even their centrelink benefits affected. Maybe a $10 per week payment plan
Having loan issues I'm not sure

Might be the fact that I've been watching too many of these uk shows

I'm not yet ready to call the peak for Victoria - but projections are showing that we should be there this week or next week at the latest. We might see numbers continue around the 2,000 cases per day level for a few days before they start to drop in any sustained manner.

Good to see their first dose getting very close to 90% ... prediction is that Victoria will reach that number on Thursday?

2nd doses still trailing about 2 - 2.5 weeks behind NSW.

Victoria Reff below 1.0 for the first time this outbreak - yay!

    upload_2021-10-19_9-50-6.png

Authorities in Victoria are also warning that it probably won't get much better as the state starts to open up - so, slight dip after the peak before numbers increase again.

Moving forward, Victoria will be relying on vaccines to do the heavy lifting instead of lockdowns.

Good to see Vic Reff continuing to drop

    upload_2021-10-20_10-46-21.png

Increasingly looking like Victoria has passed the peak - will be good to see some definite drops before restrictions are eased - just to give everyone confidence that things are on the right track (even if numbers subsequently rise again post-easing)

WA has today made vaccination mandatory for FIFO & critical infrastructure workers. Workers will need to get their first vax by midnight 30/11 & fully vaxxed by 1/1/2022.

    Better late than never.

Big jump in case numbers in Victoria yesterday - but still lower than the previous high.

Sharp jump in cases in NSW too - could be related to opening back up? Good to see only 2 deaths in NSW though.

Most of these had already been mandated by employers. This is just the government putting in support mandates to assist employers and part of the roadmap out.
I believe WAs list is quite extensive but I’m not sure how it compares or even if other states have one yet.
Mandatory jab for 1 million WA workers evokes both serious concern and broad support

There will be dancing in the streets in Canberra.

With the re-opening of retail, this weekend the Bunnings sausage sizzle is back!

It will depend on whether or not they have showered in the last two months.
