Wow, lucky number 13  for buyers but not even on the list for renters. That's a very good sign. Still a little way off being hipster though. When is that station going to be done over?

Certainly affordable considering it's closeness to the beach. And the council is proactive in improving it's image.

Yes but when ...? @sauber said 'ages' ...but why? It was a state election promise. How long ago was that? Once the station area is made over the stigma will be redundant.

Then buy now @wattledo in hope. This reminds me of my buying into Dundas because of Labor's promise with the carlingford line...after about 13 years, it is finally happening that carlingford line will join other lines...

Am already there ... still waiting on politicians.
You did well with Carlingford - I thought it would never happen.

True...that station still looks a bit dicey so hopefully soon. The beach/foreshore area is a marked improvement from even 5 yrs ago... lots more families around.

Let me point out a few things.
    - if you look at frankston. Central and sth frankston are the most desired areas.
    - people will pay a premium to get in those areas cause investors and familys like the area and know what they have to spend to get in.
    - karingal price are now seeing 400k+ now. While central is nearly touching 500k and some sth at 1mil now. In my area we have price push 500k and new townhouses are 450k which is just woahhh too me!

I dont want or need to sell cause i see there is alot of demand. But i want to raise a family here.

With the station they are to be putting all transit bus lanes over to the other side (tafe side) which needs to happen!!!!!! There will be upgrades on the old side with new parks and a single lane running through also.

Carpark wise for station I'm unsure but did hear on possibly multi level carpark which would be perfect! As frankston has a serious carpark problem

How is Berwick only #8 at this point in the cycle? People really must have a phobia about it's distance.
