I've had a request to repair closers on security doors in Brisbane. Doors are quite old so wondering if this would be a cheap quick fix or if it's better to replace with new door? Anyone got any experience of this?

    Thanks

You're just talking one of these right? (see photo) $20 from bunnings and usually a universal fit.

Yes that's the one. Thanks for the reply, looks like it'll be lots cheaper to just replace the closers then.

Like Tom said, about $20. You could probably get it cheaper from an actual security door company if you went to their factory. To have them install it... $75-100.

Cheaper to replace than repair. Tenants have a bad habit of losing or breaking or loosing these all the time. (They just magically disappear)
