Cost of removing and poisoning tree stumps

    Hi,

    I got a quote of removing 8 trees and their stumps for $1700. The guy went out and removed trees but only one tree stump was removed. The guy poisoned other 7 tree stumps and told me they are too close to the fence to be removed. Somehow the invoice I got is still $1700. That sounds not right to me because the originally quote is to remove all stumps and now he couldn't do it. How much does it cost to poison a tree stump? Same as removing it?

    Removing the stumps is the most difficult part. You have not got what was quoted on. I would not be paying that amount. Having said that I think the price is cheap for removing 8 trees plus stumps. But he wrote the quote.
    So 7 stumps are on the fence?

    Quickly call a stump grinder to determine the cost then suggest that you can take that amount off.
