    Hi everyone,

Complete newbie to the building process of subdividing my block.

My DA is approved and is in need of a CC.

My understanding of a CC is I need to pay the following

    1. Private Certifier = $5000
    2. Structural Enginner = $10,000
    3. Surveyor = 1500
    4. Council contributions = 20000
    5. Long Service Leave = 1500
Have I missed anything or have I gotten the numbers completely wrong?

Do i need a draftsperson at this stage?

    I am really struggling here

    Thanks! Dboy

Each of these costs needs to be determined from the provider.

Are you needing to build as part of the CC? What is the certifier certifying?
What works is the engineer doing - designing retaining walls, stormwater design or is it for the slabs on new construction?
Who is doing the subdivision works - preparation of plan of subdivision, lodgement with Titles office? (Solicitor or surveyor)
Are you required to provide a stormwater design/build or put in other services to the blocks created?
Council contributions - has council verified the costs?
    LSL - 0.35%

    1. Yes, i will need to build as part of the CC.
    2. With the engineering work. Yes. because I am building one house at the rear and an extension at the front lot.
3.Subdivison work will require my solicitor to do the titles but the surveyor the survey of the new lots.
4.I am not sure about the storm water. How can i find that out?

    Thanks alot for your response.
