    There's always someone grafting when it comes to government handouts...

    Childcare centre owners charged with fraudulently claiming millions in subsidy, stimulus payments

    I wish that the ABC could double check all of the details though:

    "The AFP alleges the couple used the stimulus money to fund a lavish lifestyle that included overseas holidays, luxury cars and an extensive property portfolio."

    How many OS holidays could they have had since the borders were closed? I don't think that Philip Island is overseas.

    At least they bought some property. :oops:

    I suspect the issue has been going on for more than 12 months or so considering there is around $15M allegedly involved.

    It seems childcare centres regularly wind up in the news for dodgy dealings :eek:

    And some colleges...Education is a big money spinner
