Another product you cant find is hand wash

at least we can compromise somewhat using other products that will do the job

Seriously we are not going to run out, quarantine or not IF people didn't panic buy. So stupid and forces others to do the same. At the heart of it is utter selfishness.

Should've called her out on it.

In fact, I reckon the Govt should set down some interim rules eg if you're suspected of hoarding - Woolies, Coles, Aldi are obliged to contact the police and if they're called out for a visit, you'll receive an immediate fine or a future court appearance where charges can be laid.

Can't understand this one either.... soap works pretty well.....

I have noticed over the past few days:

Rice - big 5kg and 10kg bags back on shelf at Coles - in fact Coles here having a 50% off sale for 5kg bags of Basmati!!!

Flushable (allegedly) wipes now on shelf

    Baby wipes (non-flushable) - heaps

Tissues - expy small travelo packs etc - now available

Paper towels - a decent number of paper towels rolls were looking relatively unloved at Aldi this morning

Flour - still missing (this one is actually a prepper food basic)

Pasta - back in limited number at supermarkets but the local Delicatessen has loads....

These idiots buy the quota, go back to their car and come back again for another loot.

I'm actually more worried about any transport disruptions where oil (as in fuel type) is affected... I do remember days of petrol rationing!

    More than likely.
When stocks bounce, they will rebound very hard, however worth remembering that the key question will be from what level. ;)

I am waiting to see what transpires over the next week or two initially and to see if W.H.O utter the "P" word. Watch out out if/when that occurs.

How can that be ? The government there assured everyone it has been stopped in its tracks very early on due to their very wise preemptive actions that were criticized at the time.

Yes the key is from what level, if relatively new to the market I expect there may be some pain

That list you posted has been shown to be completely wrong. Saying the US is number 1 on this issue is a complete joke, all they are doing is sweeping it under the carpet. They are woefully unprepared unfortunately.

    US is a joke.
