    Any conveyancers on here?

Im sure lawyers will say "dont risk it, use a lawyer", which is fair enough.

is it a business you can work from home and work at your own pace?

im sure there is lots of paperwork

    disclaimer: I know nothing :)

With electronic conveyancing it can be the sort of job you could work in your underwear.

In QLD the firm must be a legal practice. If you could build a large practice and invest lots in technology to reduce the amount of hours on the admin side, then it works. If you are looking at doing the work yourself or being small (unless you intend to offerterrible service), then your hourly rate will be terrible.
