I know not a thing about you but a bunch of posts of yours that I've read in the past few months, but you have my admiration. I would be humbled to buy you a beer or a bottle of red.

A couple of years ago we were at the Optometrist - the receptionist first asked if @MsAli and I if we were twins, then went to ask if we shared our birthday :p

This is just attempting to remove agency from yourself and refuse to take responsibility for your emotions.

The admin assistant where I work once complained to me about the postage stamps she was putting on the envelopes for mailing. She was complaining that they weren't sticking to the envelope.

I told her that she had to lick the back of the stamps to get them to stick. First she thought I was joking, when she realised that I wasn't she was disgusted and horrified! How unhygienic! These stamps should go back!

I told her that it wasn't that long ago that we had to lick the back of the envelope too to make it stick. She didn't believe me!

    Face palm.

Our kids got one over me a little while ago. They played a shared sport. One piped up 'I was the second eldest at the game', stupid me asked "who was the oldest?", 'your son' came back as the obvious answer.

OK the twin jokes now.... lol

A friend of mine once tried to convince me that not all twins were born on the same day. I argued that they are, he gave me an example of 2 girls he knew that were twins but born 4 years apart, I told him that if they are 4 years apart they cannot be twins. He argued that "yes they are, they look exactly the same" lol

A woman warned me to get a cut treated quick while kayaking in some wildwater below a hydro-electric plant (Nymboida, NSW) because the electricity had been taken out of the water and so it was more infectious.

Yes you have, but by that stage it's no longer called alternative therapy, its just therapy.

    Cheers,

    I'll just leave this here

well, there are actually scenarios where "twins" aren't born on the same day. The obvious one is when the births straddle midnight, another would be some form of conception intervention, where embryos are used at different times, and there could also be the case where one is born prematurely and the other comes later:

but yes, not just because they look the same...

One other thing I did learn since we had twins was that identical twins can have different sacks and different placentas, depending on at what stage the embryo divided.

    Cheers,
    Inertia

A shopkeeper once asked me if I was a yobo.

I just laughed, jumped in my car and smoked the tyres.

With my window down I yelled to him "anymore dumb questions?" lol.

It is also possible for twins to have different fathers.

Some local bogan from Elizabeth I talk to who always gets around on his pushy funny harmless guy, his mother and father in law use him as an errand boy and he is under their command, told me how his mother in law recently won 100k on instant scratchie.

I asked him if he got anything he said yes some pairs of shorts and they paid off his radio rentals finance which was 5k also his wives RRs finance. They bought a new car and she bought her husband a brand new Harley Davidson.

I asked if they have any left he said " about 10k " and if they win the lotto tommorow $20m they are going to buy the house they live in (housing trust in Elizabeth) so there daughter isn't relying on housing trust ...o_O

Yea I know. But in their position why bother?

Owning there crappy housing trust would bring no joy to them and they probably get a good rent deal from housing trust
