Thought id be nice and try and help some relatives resurface their backyard verandah,
its not covered, completely flat surfaced, no grooves, and has become patchy and yucky

its about 3.5m x 6m, it looks like sold concrete block about 1m high, is there any kind of paint or better still a paste (say beach sand colour and texture) that I can paint/place over it and make it look nice.
    Any suggestions ?

    here are some photos

I'd try a pressure wash before anything else. It may come up. A photo of the facade of the house would help to guide what else could be done to improve it.

those streak marks in the second pic are the result of a pressure washer, that I tried a while ago,
was surprised how bad it looked!

Hit it with some hydrochloric acid after the pressure wash.

It won't look bad if you pressure wash the whole surface though. Well... it may look bad but will look better than the half done job.

Once done, make a call. Bare concrete can look unfinished, which is why a photo showing what it sits next to would help.

unfortauntaely the first pic is what it looks like with the big black circle after pressure washing, so I dont think its coming off that easily,

is there a paint or a paste that can just rejuvenate the whole thing?

As @wylie suggests, seeing what sits next to the concrete would provide valuable context.

It might be difficult to find someone in Bora Bora but personally I'd probably get it honed by someone like Honed Concrete in Brisbane & Gold Coast

    1. Give it a pressure wash
    2. Fill in and sand the cracks
    3. Berger Jet Dry (Non Slip), $100 from Bunnings

BERGER® JET DRY® Stones Colour Chart

P.S. I do not recommend the White Knight Ultra Pave you'll find next to it.
