    Hi everyone

Just wondering whether anyone had the "luck" going through the process of compulsory appointment of strata manager. I assume the strata law is different between states so I am referring to NSW.

    All thoughts are welcome!

Why were they appointed? And by who? Do you mean a court or tribunal ordered appointment?

Yes. If an owners corporation is proved to be dysfunctional, the tribunal may compulsorily appoint a strata manager.

Having an ongoing issue with one of my IPs. It's being "self managed", i.e. No professional strata manager involved and everything is controlled by one owner. I have gone through mediation with him hoping to get the leaking issue fixed in my unit, but now things still gets dragged on with not much happening. So thinking of taking him/ owners corporation to Tribunal. Just wanted to see whether anyone had similar experience that I can learn from?
