Oh I wasn't implying that the XPT is any good, only that it's long distance. You're better off driving.

My commute is about 40 minutes (10-15 minute walk to the station, depending how long it takes to cross the damn road) and then a short walk at the other end. But most days I work from home.

Planning to move to the Blue Mountains within 3 years, which will mean a 2.5 hour train trip. However, as few days as possible working on site. Or optimally, not work at all.

You can actually buy fold up walking sticks... I have a friend Moshe who has one in his coat pocket that he uses when he gets on a crowded bus... "Vere is my seat ... Vere is my seat "! He shouts . But be warned it doesnt work all the time.

DH, your friend Moshe is probably going to get a big surprise when he boards a bus full of Property Chat posters and lurkers, who collectively shout "On the next bus!", partly due to his impertinence and partly to you letting a cat out of a bag...

I wish Moshe was on Property Chat!
I am sure his stories would be pretty epic!
