Community Bulk Buy - Solar Panels

A girl just knocked on the door and said she was from "Community Bulk Buy" which was apparently a group that is bulk-buying solar panel installations so people can get them at a lower price. She wanted to make an appointment for a consultant to come speak with us. I only entertained her as we are looking to get solar at some point. Anyone had any experience with this company? Is this a scam of some sort? Thanks for any information

 

Door knocking sales always worry me a bit. Not sure if the person you saw is legit but quick google showed this Watch out for solar door knocking scam

If you do go ahead with the appointment, don't be pressured to sign anything.

Thanks for your response, pwt. Yeah I found that article after googling. I'm going to cancel the appointment. I don't like being put on the spot, and we aren't ready to buy now anyway
