    Whats your price point?

Be careful with a gimmicky name or a cheesy pun which will make your brand sound cheap. Unless you are going for cheap and cheerful. But even then, i think gen y are switched on
to interiors and will want something worthy of pintrest.

Ive bought stuff from ilovelinen before. I would guess their target market is GenX/ or Gen. Y DINKs.

Also, i dont think the average poster here is gen y and if they are, they are probably blokes who arent shopping for linen online. Work out who your buyer is and look at other brands that are popular with them.

Edit to add: i had to go back through my emails to remember what they were called and im on the mailing list and often open them. all i could remember was that linen was in the name.

@Leewei, those are some pretty good thoughts! I think I'll probably go with The Good Sheet, it's definitely real words with a bit of a cheeky word play but nothing too confusing (I hope!)

@Esel, the price point is mid-range. Aiming for top quality but not at the prices the big brands charge - cutting out the middleman by only selling online. I hope The Good Sheet is not too cheesy!! Good quality is integral to the brand and I think the name reflects this... but then maybe I'm too close to this to see it objectively so outside points of view are welcome.

I'll run this past my business consultant and marketing person too, see what they think.

Another tag line for The Good Sheet : You've got to be sheeting me

Edit: sorry, just realised Bob already said that

Interesting discussion! I like The Good Sheet. Nice and simple, no spelling disasters, easy to remember and encompasses what you're selling immediately. Best of luck with it all and keep us posted :)

I think if you're trying to market to a younger generation, using words like "cray cray" and "fleek" aren't going to help. I know I'm not a normal 24 year old, but I am still gen Y and I hate when companies think they're cool by using "in" words.

Not only is it tacky, but those words will soon be "out" and replaced with some other gibberish.

I like The Good Sheet (who said that? Awesome). Because it's not using stupid buzz words, it's still marketing to gen Y, I don't think it's too crass for most people and like Jacque I like that it's simple without any spelling mistakes.

Good luck and maybe one day I'll buy some Good Sheet. (Yes, it's okay for me to make bad jokes). :D

Or you can have that as the logo for the company "Holy Sheets Pty ltd" as the name and then under the name say "we've got the sheets big time"

@Lil Skater thanks, good to hear your thoughts on this.

Lots of the suggestions are good but already taken either here or in the US. Some are very close to names already registered so even if I can register such a name, I don't want to in case it causes confusion for potential customers, it'll just cost me sales. I really like Holy Sheets @Terry_w but there's a trademark on Holy Sheet. Too close.

Btw, have you heard of namecheap.com? it allows you to quickly and easily search for available domains. I've used it myself and found it to work the fastest.

There is also namecheckr.com - but that is more for .com (.net / .org) and social media (eg. twitter) usernames.
