    Yes, only.

    Compared to deaths related to obesity, smoking, driving a car, heart attack (diet and lifestyle for the most part), alcohol, etc.

    Yet; folks have been here espousing the horror of coal fired power stations as a major issue that must see a systematic destruction of one of our industries, resulting and will continue to result in many job losses, and massive increases in electricity prices....but no such monumental change in much of the other death causes....have we put cars off the road? Have we implemented massive taxes on folks who want to let them selves get obese? or shutting down of cigarette factories? or alcoholic beverage producing factories? No.

    But that's not even the argument and never has been - it has only even been because of the effect on GW and/or CC....take yer pick; they are interchangeable these days....although; the GW side of the rhetoric has gone very quite now that the temps haven't burned us alive and the polar bears haven't become extinct yet.

    scientific expedition cancelled due to unprecedented amount of ice - Google Search

    Except for a handful of disgracefully over-populated Cities where the alarmist have cherry-picked a result; hardly a murmur in decades about pollution related to coal fired power stations as it affects people's health....it's certainly not the cleanest air you can breath; but let's get fair dinkum; most folks wander around Melb and Syd, L.A, New York, San Francisco etc, their whole lives sucking up vehicle emissions and no-one says anything.

    All they need to do is build the power stations waaay out in the middle of nowhere, away from the general population. As I said earlier; only living within a few hundred metres constitutes any real possible health issue.

    Finally; China and India have no plans to cut back on building coal fired power stations anytime soon, and the Paris Accord is letting them get away with that - this is why the USA has pulled out of that stupid Paris Accord. If China and India were so concerned about GW and CC then why are they not reversing their trend?

    Here's your India causation;

    What Is Behind Delhi’s Soaring Air Pollution?

    And from your own link;
    "What Causes Pollution in Delhi?
    What Causes Delhi’s particularly bad air pollution?
    Air pollution in Delhi’s National Capital Region (NCR) is comprised of a complex mix of pollution from human activities (vehicle emissions, industry, construction and residential fuel burning) as well as natural sources like dust and sea salt. The heavy concentration of particulate matter is greatly affected by meteorological conditions –in the winter, cool air causes “inversions” that stagnant the air and trap pollution close to the ground. Air flow patterns from Afghanistan and Pakistan pick up emissions as they move over the densely urbanized regions of Punjab and Haryana where farmers burn the straw in their fields and pull this pollution into Delhi. Pre-monsoon dust storms also contribute to air pollution in the region."

    So; to pin all the smog on coal fired power stations is a very long stretch of the bow....there would need to be quite a few, and in a small area, and right next to the City in question.

    Today Nick Xenophon is quoted as saying residential power disconnections are at a "crisis point" and in the realm of third world countries.

    Nick is trying to act as saviour in an energy crisis for a problem he helped create.

    Nick has been a vocal supporter of damaging government energy regulation and his own policies are advocating for a 50% renewable energy target and a carbon tax.

    Federally Nick worships the green energy gods and locally complains about high energy prices

    Nick is a part of the problem not the solution.

    The facts

    The psychology behind climate change denial

    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/10/161004103313.htm

    "In the scientific community there is a strong consensus that humans have significantly affected the climate and that we are facing serious challenges. But there is a lot of misinformation about climate change in circulation, which to a large part is created and distributed by organised campaigns with the aim of postponing measures that could combat climate change. And there are people who are more prone than others to trust this misinformation."

    "Importantly, one variable, named social dominance orientation (SDO), helped explain all these correlations, either entirely or partially.

    The correlation between SDO and climate change denial can perhaps be explained by considering the many injustices of climate change. Our current wealthy lifestyles are the primary cause of climate change, but the most serious consequences are affecting mainly poor countries and people, as well as animals and future generations of humans."

    Elon Musk's big battery brings reality crashing into a post-truth world

    Elon Musk's big battery brings reality crashing into a post-truth world | Tim Hollo

    "For months, politicians and fossil fuel industry have lied about the viability of renewables. Now Tesla’s big battery in South Australia will prove them wrong

    Musk’s agreement to build the world’s largest battery for South Australia isn’t just an extraordinary technological breakthrough that signs coal’s death warrant. It’s potentially a game changer in the way we do politics, reinserting the importance of basic reality into a debate which has been bereft of it for too long."

    there is no change in the climate....well; not outside of usual cyclical change.

    No unusual and or extra rain activity, no increase or strength of hurricanes and/or tornadoes etc, wind...its all BS.

    None of the alarmists' far-flung predictions have come anywhere near to occuring.

    The gig is up.
