Sold our Sydney property - settled this week, so I celebrated by spending some money ;)
Not much, I only bought a throw rug $170 from this place that's closing down: www.mossriver.com.au
Has some beautiful blankets, throw rugs etc, made in Italy, wool, cashmere and the like. Some of the things were super expensive and now 70% off.
    Thought I'd share :)

At first I thought you were referring to a rug store that is closing down and I was about to rush out. Then I remembered that rug store I used to visit as kid is still closing down 30 years later so I am guessing I have a bit of time up my sleeve to make a coffee first

I thought that you were quite hirsute (or was that at a rug you were sporting)? What need you of a rug?

I buy all my rugs as lengths of carpet, bound on all edges by the carpet company ... have a nice cream wool shag on the lounge floor - 3m x 3.6m - that cost only a few hundred (8 years ago).

Granted - living in the country it's more light orange/cream than white/cream nowadays... time to look for a less cosmopolitan update.

At $59 for two pillow cases it's still too pricey for my budget at 70% off!
